Particularly, Thomas Processing & Systems develops and implements computer systems and comprehensive technology solutions through data processing, technology infrastructure management, and the logistics necessary to ensure the success of the projects.
MANAGEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY SERVICES WITH QUALITY, INNOVATION, AND SECURITY
Since 2016, the team led by Engineer Lina Lora contracted the services of GlobalSuite® to support what at that time was just an initiative to jointly certify in the ISO 9001, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 standards, certifications achieved and maintained as an Integrated Management System to date, documented and monitored from the tool.
Challenges and scope of the project
The project’s challenges included the need to comprehensively manage business continuity plans and centralize relevant information to ensure the availability of critical activities in the event of unavailability, as well as to proactively identify risks and adopt preventive measures.
The project focused on documenting, consolidating, and automating the management of all the information of the Integrated Management System of Thomas Processing & Systems S.A.S, which includes the ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000 standards.
The scope included:
- Integrated Management Framework: Using GlobalSuite®, a solid framework was established that allowed the integrated management of the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000 standards. This included the definition of objectives, policies, and procedures that ensured compliance with all regulations.
- Information Consolidation: Information related to quality and security systems was centralized and unified, facilitating its automated evaluation and comprehensive management. This allowed for better traceability and evidence of the processes, as well as their integration within the organization.
- Process Automation: Such as tasks related to the management of quality and security systems that include risk assessment, implementation of controls, and continuous monitoring. Also, the monitoring of SLAs with Clients. This optimized the processes and reduced the manual workload.
- Supplier Management and Monitoring: The company is highly dependent on a large number of critical suppliers that are managed and evaluated using GlobalSuite®.
- Monitoring and Auditing: A procedure for managing Findings, Opportunities for Improvement, and Corrective Actions was established, allowing their constant monitoring to ensure their timely resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: We have proactively worked to ensure the effectiveness and continuous compliance of the Integrated Management System, supporting us with GlobalSuite® in all follow-up, control, or recertification audits that we constantly receive.
